Founded in 1990, NASTT represents 1,500 members throughout the United States and Canada who all promote better and more responsible ways to manage our underground infrastructure. Virginia Center for Housing Research

The Virginia Tech Center for Housing Research (VCHR), located in Blacksburg, is the official housing research center for the Commonwealth and is a college center in Virginia Tech's College of Engineering. VCHR has a mission to serve as "an interdisciplinary study, research, and information resource on housing for the Commonwealth of Virginia." Accordingly, VCHR provides housing-related research for localities and the Commonwealth, federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit businesses. Read more about V C H R

The Construction Management Association of America is North America’s only organization dedicated exclusively to the interests of professional Construction and Program Management.

The Association was formed in 1982. Current membership is more than 11,000, including individual CM/PM practitioners, corporate members, and construction owners in both public and private sectors, along with academic and associate members. CIB is the acronym of the abbreviated French (former) name: "Conseil International du Bâtiment" (in English this is: International Council for Building). In the course of 1998, the abbreviation has been kept but the full name changed into:

The Spring 2023 MLSoC Hardhatting Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Moss Arts Center, located at 190 Alumni Mall, Blacksburg, VA 24061. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 P.M. and will be followed by a reception for graduates and their families. Doors will open at 3 p.m.

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 P.M. and will be followed by a reception for graduates and their families. We ask that students arrive by 3 p.m. so we can line them up.

As part of thier senior requirements, Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) students take our Capstone Course where they apply theory over two semesters working collaboratively to develop a competitive proposal summarizing their design and construction solutions.  The top five team finalists present to industry leaders on Capstone Day.
