CHAMPS - Vision and Mission
Virginia Tech's Faculty and Graduate students create a center of expertise that provides independent assessment and technical leadership to support innovations in highway maintenance contracting and asset management practices. Faculty and Graduate students in the Vecellio Construction Engineering & Management Program (VCEMP) at Virginia Tech have been providing ongoing support to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) on matters related to the privatization of the interstate maintenance activities, innovation, and research in maintenance contracting and asset management practices.
