Matthew O’Neill, a senior majoring in Construction Engineering and Management, spent his summer in the place with more hours of daylight than anywhere else in the United States. He interned with Kiewit’s Northwest District in Anchorage, Alaska. The Northwest District is one of the top leaders in heavy construction. Don Riblet is a senior majoring in Building Construction within the Myers – Lawson School of Construction. This past summer he interned with Kiewit. WayUp, a website for college students and recent grads seeking jobs and internships, listed Kiewit as one of the top 100 places to intern.     Holly White is a senior majoring in Construction Engineering and Management at Virginia Tech. Holly spent her summer working with CBG Building Company whose headquarters are located just outside of Washington, D.C. but has multiple locations throughout the United States. The Myers-Lawson School of Construction held their semi-annual Hard-Hatting Ceremony on Friday, May 11, 2018. The ceremony recognizes graduating undergraduates in Building Construction, Construction Engineering and Management, Masters and Doctoral graduates in Building Construction as well as The Vecellio Construction and Engineering and Management Program.  Read more about Spring 2018 Hard-Hatting Ceremony
