At State Utility Contractors we pride ourselves in being a premier builder of environmental service facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. This category of work includes a wide range of project types including but not limited to: Water Treatment Plants, Waste Water Treatment Plants, Pump and Booster Stations, Water Lines, Sewer Lines and Land Development. We self-perform a large portion of the work on each project so if you are selected for an internship with us you will be enveloped and hands on with many facets of the construction process! On a typical plant job you will see everything from heavy concrete work, large and small diameter pipe installation, unique process equipment installation to complex metal stud architectural commercial buildings with fancy brick veneers. There are not many internships that expose you to this many types of construction that are all happening at one company.
