Faculty and students in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction welcomed industry partner Procon Consulting to campus for the unboxing of the school's new robot from Boston Dynamics. The robot is part of sponsored research to investigate the usability and effectiveness of using robots for on-site construction progress monitoring. The research will be conducted by Dr. Kereshmeh Afsari and Dr. Walid Thabet in our ARCADE (Automation & Robotics in Construction And Design Engineering) lab.
