
Chris Strock, a PhD student in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction, wins "Best Presentation" at the recent International Symposium on "Construction in Developing Economies" held in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago January 16-18, 2008. The paper, titled "Appropriate Technologies for Sustainable Access to Safe Drinking Water: a case study in Belize" was written by Chris along with Drs. Anthony Songer and Christine Fiori, both faculty in the School.
Chris is studying for his PhD in Civil Engineering with a Construction Emphasis. Dr. Anthony Songer is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Civil Engineering's Vecellio Construction Engineering and Management Program. Dr. Christine Fiori is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs, Industry Relations and Outreach in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction.
