Jonathan Arnold (BC '09) winner of the $2000 scholarship, and scholarship finalists David DuBose (BC '09), Anna Fujimoto (BC '09), and Brandon Knight (BC '09) traveled to Maryland to participate in the final selection process for the Mechanical Contractors of America Metro Washington Scholarship. The group, along with Building Construction faculty Georg Reichard, toured Dominion Mechanical, Inc. Navy Federal Credit Union project in Vienna and the Welch's and Rushe's FDA project in White Oak, MD. The group also enjoyed guest speaker presentations during the MCAMW Dinner Meeting: "Economic Forecast for 2009" by Stephen S. Fuller, Ph.D., Dwight Schar Faculty Chair and University professor, Director, Center for Regional Analysis, School of Public Policy, George Mason University, and "Understanding Your Blood Pressure" by Rich Breadley of Quick Fit.
