We will be celebrating each of our graduates virtually at 6 PM. Graduates will pick up their hard hats in-person or receive them by mail prior to the event.
Each semester we celebrate our graduates with a hard hatting ceremony where we present our students with an orange Virginia Tech hard hat. Since our two programs graduate with different colleges, CEM with Engineering and BC with Architecture & Urban Studies, this ceremony is our way of celebrating our graduates together. Traditionally the ceremony is held prior to graduation, so our students can wear their hard hat with their gown during the larger graduation ceremonies.
