Sarah Bell is a 2012 graduate of Penn State University (PSU), where she received her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management. Sarah interned with Gilbane Building Company from 2009 – 2011 and was involved with several diverse projects. Among her internship experiences, Sarah became the LEED coordinator at the UVA Emily Couric Cancer Center, where the project attained LEED Silver. Since graduating from PSU, Sarah has served as a Field Project Manager, managing renovation projects for Gilbane at Virginia Tech. The Gilbane team has managed over $50 million of design and construction projects at Virginia Tech over the past 3 years. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys riding her horse Ice Man, adventuring in the outdoors, mentoring young women, and volunteering at a local horse rescue in Radford.
