The Building Construction Students students created a proposal for the former Sturbridge Square property in Blacksburg, VA. Each Proposal includes an apartment building(s), community space, leasing offices, swimming pool and deck and a parking strategy. Learn more about the requirements here.

The Construction Engineering and Management students worked on two exciting projects this year! The first project, sponsored by Flatiron Construction, involved preconstruction planning for a 2.4-mile-long bridge along N.C. 12 in Rodanthe, NC. Then, after researching unique design and construction considerations along the North Carolina coast, students proposed their own development projects in the Rodanthe community. Projects varied in scope, scale, and purpose, and offered students the opportunity to work on a project of their choosing. Learn more about the requirements here.
