Congratulations, Dr. Mike Garvin, principal faculty member of Myers-Lawson School of construction, and associate professor in the Via Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, upon becoming an Advisory Board Member for the Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure (AIAI).
(AIAI) is a non-profit organization formed in the District of Columbia to help shape the direction of the national Public Private Partnership marketplace. AIAI serves as a national proponent to facilitate educational and legislation through targeted advocacy.
AIAI's Board is comprised of leaders of the construction and development industry. Dr. Garvin's research and teaching focus on infrastructure development, emphasizing policy and planning, investments and financing, and asset delivery and service, will add depth to the advisory board.
