Congratulations Dr. Simmons!
Dr. Simmon's article, "Understanding Students’ Incentives for and Barriers to Out-of-Class Participation: Profile of Civil Engineering Student Engagement", was selected as the Editor's Choice in the current issue of the Journal of Professional Issues in Engineering Education and Practice. The editor selects one manuscript in each issue for the distinction to highlight unique and transformative research.
This is the second of Dr. Simmon's articles to receive this type of recognition. Earlier this year the Journal of Management in Engineering, named Dr. Simmons manuscript, "Leadership Paradigms in Construction: Critical Review to Inform Research and Practice for its Editor's Choice.
